Refund Policy

Refunds & Currency Conversion
All transactions are completed in GBP, including any refunds issued. We cannot guarantee what the currency exchange rate will be on the date a refund is issued and this rate may differ from the exchange rate on the date of the original transaction.
Cancellations, Returns, & Refunds
All customers are able to request a refund/cancellation within 48 hours after placing the order. After that time period has passed, cancellation requests are not accepted for any purchases made.

No refunds and no returns--All sales are final once an item has shipped
Damages & Issues

Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact us at info@larktaylorauthor.com within 3 days (according to tracking) if an item is damaged, missing, or you received the wrong item. You will be required to provide photographic evidence.​ Any claims submitted after 3 days will not be entitled to a replacement or refund.

Missing Items: Replacements or partial refunds will be offered for missing items.

Damaged Items: Damages claims will be evaluated on a case-by-case scenario and replacements or partial refunds will be offered at Lark Taylor's discretion.

Damage Guidelines

What qualifies as damaged?

  • Obvious rips or tears

    • Tearing in endpapers must be significant

  • Dents in the book edges, spine, and corners over 1 cm in depth

  • Residue on the cover or pages that cannot be removed

  • Water damage

  • Obvious imperfections in foiling such as flaking, scuffs, or scratches over 1 cm

  • No signature when there should be

What does not qualify as damaged?

  • Bends, creases, or light scratches on pages or covers

  • Wavy pages

  • Minimal creasing on book edges, spine or corners

  • Minor scratches or bleeding on sprayed edges

  • Minor fading or slight differences in shade of sprayed edges
